ABOUT

MNCHS Research Society is an organization of the Junior and Senior High School STEM Students of Masbate National Comprehensive High School. The club is responsible for the conduct of the MNCHS Science and Technology Fair.  MNCHS Science and Technology Fair is the annual culminating activity of the  Grade 10 Research IV and G12 Practical Research subjects showcasing the  Science Investigatory Projects (SIP’s)/ Research studies performed by Junior and Senior high school STE student-researchers of the Science Technology and Engineering (STE) Curriculum in Masbate National Comprehensive High School, being a DOST-DepEd ESEP School. It is conducted at the institutional (school) level. Outstanding research studies in the school level will advance to the division, regional, national  & international (ISEF) levels.

MNCHS Science and Technology Fair highlights the critiquing part of the research process where student researchers defend their scientific scholarly studies before a panel of experts who rigorously scrutinize, review and critique the research papers and output for potential knowledge contribution to existing Science research literature, making a significant contribution in their humble ways.

Focusing on the local problems asked by these budding scientists, these research studies attempt at creating solutions through their formal understanding of Science by means of inquiry-based learning insights gained in the classroom and using state-of-the-art research techniques.
